HELDECO wins the prestigious “Austria’s Leading Companies” (ALC) award in the Styria medium-sized companies category. “We are very proud of this award – it is a strong sign of the performance of our entire team and clear proof that consistent quality and reliability are rewarded in the long term,” emphasizes Managing Director Helmut Dettenweitz.

Austria’s Leading Companies is one of the most prestigious business awards in the country. The award is based on an objective, transparent analysis process. The last three annual financial statements are evaluated using a method developed specifically for the ALC by PwC Austria and KSV1870. Twelve key performance indicators from the areas of growth, liquidity and profitability are included in the assessment – independent of the sector and comparable. HELDECO won both the national prize and the Austrian competition back in 2016.

Kristina Dettenweitz accepted the award on behalf of HELDECO in the Helmut List Hall in Graz. Kristina belongs to the next generation of our owner family and is currently undergoing a one-year training program at HELDECO: from turning and milling to costing, quality assurance, programming, cost accounting and controlling – she is getting to know the company from the ground up. With her education at the HTL Leoben (specializing in logistics and business) and her enthusiasm for technology and processes, she brings a lot to the table – we look forward to shaping the future of HELDECO together with her.
